Cybersecurity Engineer (Pre-Sales)

Job Summary
An independent contributor role who is willing to learn and responsible to support, plan, develop, implement, integrate, deploy and test IT Security solutions and architectures that meet the client needs. This role will work closely with product vendors to ensure customer infrastructure is in good condition, handle patching process and maintain the IT security components. As a team player, the scope also involves evaluating and analyse security product solutions, product enablement to get familiar of the products' usage, providing technical product demo(s), support on Pre & Post POC discussion, integration and maintenance service support.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement secure system architectures to meet security requirements. (portal requirement)
• Embed security principles into the design of system architectures to mitigate risks posed by new technologies and business practices. (portal requirement)
• Provide technical product demonstrations and support Pre & Post POC discussions, assisting customers in understanding security features and benefits.
• Analyze customer business requirements and recommend cybersecurity solutions that align with their needs.
• Design artefactsthat describe security principles and their relationship to the overall enterprise system architecture. (portal requirement)
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure the integration and implementation of security solutions.
• Perform routine activities related to periodic reviews and audits of infrastructure security systems. (portal requirement)
• Support sales efforts in tender/RFQ/RFP/RFI processes by providing technical input and evaluations.
Sales and Business Development
1. Product Knowledge and Presentation:
• Understand and effectively present the range of IT/cybersecurity products distributed by the company.
• Prepare and deliver engaging presentations on our products and solutions to prospective and existing clients.
2. Channel Partner and Customer Development:
• Identify and establish relationships with new channel partners and customers.
• Develop and manage existing channel partners and customers, implementing sales and marketing initiatives to increase revenue.
• Motivate and support channel partners by creating joint marketing and promotional plans with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.
3. Account and Relationship Management:
• Manage and nurture relationships with designated customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Actively seek out new sales opportunities to expand the customer base.
4. Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
• Conduct market research to understand channel partners and customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to target key sectors and expand market share.
