IT Data Collection Technician | AI Trained | 1 Yr Contract | Jurong East

5 Days per week

SG Office: Jurong East - Tradehub 21 [ Some travelling within SG is required ]

Basic Salary: $2,000 - $2,800 + 14 Days AL + $500 Medical Benefits + Pro rated bonus

Company is doing security system for airport, car park and checkpoint, has office at Singapore and factory at Johor Bahru.

Job Scopes:

1. Support our AI development team by collecting, organizing, and annotating X-ray images of baggage for machine learning purposes.
2. Critical in building high-quality datasets that will be used to train advanced computer vision models for security screening applications.
3. Assist in the setup and operation of X-ray scanning equipment to capture baggage images
4. Organize and catalog images according to predefined categories and metadata standards
5. Perform basic image preprocessing (e.g., cropping, anonymization, format conversion)
6. Annotate or label images using internal tools to identify objects of interest (e.g., electronics, liquids, prohibited items)
7. Ensure data quality and consistency across the dataset
8. Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to understand dataset requirements
9. Follow strict data privacy and security protocols

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Able to work with computers, file systems, and basic image editing tools and follow structured workflows in a secure or controlled environment (e.g., airport or lab setting)
• Basic understanding of data formats (e.g., JPEG, PNG, CSV) and file management
• Experience with Python or scripting for automation
• Familiarity with annotation tools (e.g., LabelImg, CVAT, VGG Image Annotator)
