IT Project Manager - Financial Services

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex, high-impact technology initiatives within the financial services sector. You will oversee end-to-end project delivery-ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, business goals, and digital transformation strategies. Your expertise will drive secure, compliant, and efficient implementations in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define project scope and timelines in collaboration with business, compliance, and IT stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams across departments such as risk, compliance, operations, and technology.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure ROI and efficiency.
• Communicate progress to senior financial stakeholders and regulatory bodies as needed.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring adherence to industry and security standards.
• Drive change management to support adoption of financial systems and platforms.
• Maintain thorough documentation and report on project KPIs, audits, and governance metrics.
• Promote continuous improvement and scalable project delivery frameworks.

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of experience, including 7 years of proven experience managing IT Applications projects in banking, fintech, or financial services.
• Delivered at least 3 full project life cycle
• Relevant experience in digital, automation and/or process improvement related projects
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements
• Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly adaptable and flexible
• Good communication skills, proficiency in written English is mandatory. Proficiency in Chinese language is needed to effectively communicate with the Chinese stakeholders.
