Job summary:

The role holder provides proactive and reactive network consultancy and support to help customers maximize network availability and functionality to achieve their business goals. Activities will include in-depth analysis, design, assessments & support and consultancy. The role holder will be a trusted adviser, working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment as a visible contributor delivering our commitments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide planning, designing, assessment, implementation & support services to our client's Customers.
• Participate in or leads coverage of Cisco install bases of medium to large customers from different sectors.
• Support on aspects of Network Security from requirements capture/definition through customer. Also hands-on experience in Campus Networking is expected.
• Deliver assessments of the Cisco install base with a detailed understanding of network, customers change management processes, migration processes and related dependencies.
• Interpret client needs, assess the full requirements, and identify suitable solutions.
• Support on the service delivery and network solution implementation.
• Work along with the project/operations managers on the engagement to ensure compliance to set processes, weekly progress and status checks, ongoing communications and meetings and drive technical leadership and solutions & deliverables discussions with the customers.
• Work closely with the sales and regional teams to participate and drive the preparation of proposals and Statements of Work. Identify & influence additional business opportunities in collaboration with sales team by demonstrating knowledge of customer's network, challenges and their future plans.
• Ensure smooth closure of engagements using relationship with the customer and guide them to the next steps.
• Provide support and troubleshooting service for the network infrastructure related incidents and problems.
• Assists customer with deployment of complex network tools and related Network
• Builds simulated networks in test labs to validate the design and solution.
• Provides remote or onsite deployment support.

Skills/Experience:

• Relevant degree /diploma for recognized institution
• Cisco Certifications CCNP or above
• Cybersecurity related certifications such as CEH, ISACA CISM, CompTIA Security+ would be an advantage.
• Deep understanding & hands on design,implementation & operations experience in Cisco Network Security solutions
• Experience hands on design,implementation & operations experience with Cisco Catalyst series switches/Nexus switches, Cisco Router platforms
• The ability to perform highly technical L1, L2 and L3 troubleshooting to determine root cause of software or hardware failure issues.
• Deep understanding of Cybersecurity and in particular UTM, network/device security, identity services, access control with extensive hands on experience with industry leaders such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Juniper etc.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, Effective consulting and communication skills
• Experience in building and designing large multi-protocol inter-networks is an added advantage.
• Demonstrated industry awareness.
• Background of programming, such as Python, Javascript or scripting would be a plus
• At least 10 years of industry experience.

Tenure:

Candidate will be hired on a full-time basis on a Fixed term contract that renews based on performance.
