Position Summary

Senior-level role responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining the organisation's network security infrastructure. Key duties include vulnerability assessments, risk evaluations, and penetration testing across LAN, WAN, and VPN environments. Also ensures the effectiveness of security devices (e.g., routers, firewalls) and protection against evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 support for network and security infrastructure.
• Design and implement secure system architectures aligned with business needs.
• Integrate security principles into system and network designs.
• Maintain clear documentation of security standards and procedures.
• Conduct audits and reviews of infrastructure security systems.
• Understand the organisation's technology landscape in depth.
• Plan and build secure, scalable IT architecture solutions.
• Define and enforce corporate security policies and procedures.
• Develop security requirements for IT infrastructure (e.g., routers, firewalls, LAN/WAN/VPN).
• Oversee deployment and approval of network and security devices.
• Prepare cost estimates and identify integration challenges.
• Provide technical leadership to the cybersecurity team.
• Lead security awareness and training initiatives.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents (e.g., data breaches, malware, phishing).
• Continuously update security systems to counter new threats.

Work Environment

• English fluency (spoken and written) required.
• Rotating shift schedule with primary support for European business hours.
• Rotational on-call duties, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 8 years of IT systems management, with at least 5 years in financial institutions preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in:
  Computer Science
  Information Technology
  Programming & Systems Analysis
  Computer Studies (Science)
• Alternatively, minimum 3 years' experience as a Cyber Security Architect.
• Expertise in systems, networks, and security infrastructure.
• Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
• Resilient under pressure with a strong problem-solving mindset.
