We are seeking experienced Data Engineers with strong technical expertise to join our growing team. This role requires hands-on experience in AWS data services, data virtualization using Denodo, and Python development, with exposure to BI tools like Tableau being a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Engineering & Platform Integration

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Athena, S3, and RDS.
• Work extensively with data virtualization tools (preferably Denodo) and develop VQL queries for seamless data access and integration.
• Ingest, clean, transform, and load data from diverse sources, ensuring high data quality and consistency.
• Automate data collection and pipeline orchestration, including API integrations.

Data Architecture & Modeling

• Build conceptual, logical, and physical data models using tools like ER Studio.
• Develop and maintain data lakes, warehouses, and operational data stores, supporting scalable analytics solutions.
• Design data marts and analytical views leveraging Denodo and RDS to enable business intelligence reporting.
• Apply master data management and data governance best practices.

Development & Analytics

• Write production-grade Python scripts for data processing, automation, and integration within AWS Glue.
• Design RESTful APIs and support real-time and batch data services.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and routine maintenance.
• (Bonus) Build interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau to support analytical use cases.

DevOps & Agile Delivery

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring robust testing and deployment of data workflows.
• Work in an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing sessions.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work cross-functionally with Product Managers, BAs, Data Analysts, and Architects to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Create clear documentation for data pipelines, models, and system architecture.
• Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on data engineering strategies and best practices.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in a data engineering or related role.
• Strong proficiency in Python, VQL, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data tools: Glue, Athena, S3, RDS (SageMaker a bonus).
• Experience working with Denodo or similar data virtualization platforms.
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, governance, and infrastructure integration.
• Experience with Git-based version control and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
