Cyber Security Specialist

Job Purpose:
Protect and improve the company's IT security systems and reduce cyber risks proactively.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate security assessments, audits, and penetration testing with vendors.
• Identify system risks and recommend practical, effective solutions for mitigation.
• Manage threat detection, response, and escalation to minimize security incidents.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement tools like firewalls, SIEM, and MFA.
• Provide regular cybersecurity advice and updates to staff and stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent with 5+ years in cybersecurity roles.
• Solid understanding of ISO27001, NIST frameworks, and security compliance standards.
• Experience with firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, and data loss prevention tools.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and with teams.
• Preferably certified (CISA, CISSP, CISM) or have security consulting experience.

The successful Cyber Security Specialist must possess deep knowledge of security tools, frameworks, and experience in risk and incident management.
