Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with 10 years of experience to design, implement, and maintain robust and secure network systems. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance and reliability of the network infrastructure, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and support business objectives with cutting-edge network solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Network Design & Implementation:
   Design and implement scalable and secure network solutions.
   Configure and deploy network hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
   Collaborate with IT teams to align network architecture with business needs.
2. Maintenance & Monitoring:
   Monitor network performance and ensure availability and reliability.
   Conduct regular network audits and maintain detailed documentation.
   Schedule and implement updates, patches, and upgrades.
3. Troubleshooting & Support:
   Diagnose and resolve network-related issues efficiently.
   Provide Level 2/3 support and technical expertise during critical incidents.
   Document solutions and processes for recurring issues.
4. Security Management:
   Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls and VPNs.
   Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
   Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing.
5. Collaboration & Innovation:
   Liaise with vendors and service providers for network solutions and escalations.
   Research and recommend innovative technologies to enhance network performance.
   Provide training and support to junior engineers or IT staff.

Key Requirements

• Education:
  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications or equivalent experience is also acceptable.
• Experience:
  Minimum of 10 years in network engineering or related roles.
  Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other major networking equipment.
• Certifications:
  CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent certifications are strongly preferred.
  Security certifications like CISSP or CompTIA Security+ are an advantage.
• Technical Skills:
  Proficient in networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
  Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
  Solid understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Soft Skills:
  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
