Our client is a Malaysia-based solutions provider specializing in enterprise-level IT infrastructure, cloud computing services, and customized technical solutions. They are looking for an experienced KL-based Cloud Migration Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud migration strategies for clients, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess existing infrastructure and define migration requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to migration processes, including technical specifications and assessment reports.
• Provide technical support throughout the migration lifecycle, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Conduct post-migration reviews to ensure successful integration and optimize cloud performance.
• Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices to continually enhance migration methodologies.

Requirements:

• Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Holding industry-recognized cloud computing certifications is a plus.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience with a proven track record in successful cloud migration projects; independent completion of migration projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with major cloud service providers (e.g., Tencent Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Huawei Cloud).
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies, container technologies, networking, and storage solutions.
• Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud services, including public, private, hybrid, and multi-cloud architectures; in-depth knowledge of at least one public cloud provider (e.g., Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, Tianyi Cloud, Azure, AWS, or Huawei Cloud).
• Experience with cloud migration processes and standards, including hands-on experience with mainstream cloud migration or data replication tools, and the ability to design and implement migration solutions independently.
• Familiarity with big data components (e.g., EMR, Hadoop, Hive, Spark) is an advantage.
• Strong communication and solution design skills, capable of delivering assessment reports, workload evaluations, and migration solutions for medium to large enterprises, as well as contributing to technical proposals for bids.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese to engage professionally with international clients and vendors.
