IT Application and Digital Services Manager

The role reports to the IT Software Development and Application Support Manager. The role has management responsibility over the strategies and initiatives for the following IT functions:
Job Responsibilities
1. Execute a mobile first strategy
a. Review the digital capabilities across each of the business domains and work with the
respective business leads to identify and implement new capabilities or enhancements
to the existing capabilities which will support the business strategies.
b. Work with business leads in the prioritization of the business projects.
c. Keep abreast of new advancements in the technology industry and propose or identify opportunities to implement these technologies where it can drive business efficiency or enhance business strategies.
2. Enable Agile practices and support the adoption of agile approaches to work
d. Implement the use of Agile practices to simplify implementation processes while establishing a strong cadence of engagement across the different teams and businesses.
3. Drive and implement digital projects from a Singapore perspective
a. Ensure that requirements and specifications are fit for purpose from a Singapore perspective and aligns with the overall trends in the within industry within Singapore.
b. Look for opportunities which would differentiate HLBS in the use digital and AI capabilities or ensure that HLBS remains competitive
4. Deliver resilient and stable solutions
a. Maintain a high level of IT service quality for both internal & external customers and drive the IT units towards meeting the agreed business SLAs.
b. Establish and maintain the IT processes and controls to ensure enterprise information assets are adequately protected
c. Identify, develop, implement and maintain processes across the Sg Branch to reduce information and information technology risks, and respond timely to events and incidents
Job Requirements
- Leading the digital and AI initiatives and services across HLBS from a technology basis.
- Working with the service management lead to develop resilient Digital solutions for the bank.
- Working with the head office digital and data teams in the development of the digital and AI services that will support the overall growth of the different lines of businesses within Singapore.
- Supporting the resolution of issues and incidents and improving the longer term stability and resilience of the Digital solutions
- Identify and lead initiatives that use AI to improve services or capabilities or processe within the bank.

Job Requirements
- A recognized Degree in Information Technology, IT System Engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years progressive experience in the financial industry with extensive experience in IT, IT operations, administration and regulatory compliance; Good experience software development space and direct experience in emerging technologies is advantage.
- 8+ years of experience in a management role including demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and organize IT delivery, set goals and objectives while coaching and developing team members.
- Demonstrate good understanding of business functions and strategic plans.
- Background in ITIL and SRE frameworks will be an advantage.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, internal stakeholders, regulators and vendors.
- Experience in process and service improvement in a multi-discipline operating environment.
- Comfortable at operating in an evolving and cooperative environment; excellent people manager, open to collaborative work style and focus on results.
- Ability to master a large volume of details and facts, set priorities and be persuasive in senior level discussions.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize management and leadership best practices to plan, direct schedule and review the work performance of assigned employees.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A proven track record of consistent performance and achievement
