Job Summary:

ONION Technology Pte Ltd (OT) is a software provider that specializes in Hyperscale data center solutions. It is the APAC regional headquarters of Onion Software Inc., which was founded in Korea. We are currently seeking profiles that want to become Software Engineer in Data Center field.

Great chance to build experience in software development and the ability to liaise with global team.

The right candidate may be given chance to travel along with the team to overseas.

Responsibilities:

• To support the Software Engineer onsite during maintenance period at designated data centre location
• To monitor and report reading on the hardware in Data Center
• No experience is required as training will be provided
• Ad hoc duties may be required

Requirement

• IT/ network knowledge
• Preferably ITE and polytechnic students and/or graduate
• Physically fit to walk/stand for long hours
• Physically fit to carry ladder for short distance
• Soft skills: Communication with the main engineer
• Detail minded & Patience

Preferred:

• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
• Familiarity with software development best practices, including source control, testing, and continuous integration
• Experience with other programming languages and technologies such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
