We are looking for a highly skilled Big Data Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with Big Data technologies, especially Hadoop, Spark, and programming in Scala, Python, or Java. You will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, processing large datasets, and enabling advanced analytics solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, HDFS, YARN, Hive, etc.

- Expertise in Apache Spark for batch and/or stream processing.

- Proficiency in Scala and either Python or Java for data processing.

- Solid understanding of distributed computing and parallel data processing.

- Familiarity with data formats such as Avro, Parquet, and ORC.

- Experience with version control tools such as Git.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient Big Data processing pipelines.

- Develop data workflows and transformations using Apache Spark and Hadoop ecosystem tools.

- Write complex programs in Scala, Python, or Java for data ingestion, processing, and analysis.

- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to support data-driven initiatives.

- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security throughout the data lifecycle.

- Optimize existing data processing jobs for performance and scalability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production data pipelines.

- Document technical designs, processes, and best practices.
