We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and integration of Data lake built using Oracle Golden gate and AWS services. Ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring and set up of Oracle Golden gate, AWS MSK, AWS RDS and integrating Oracle Golden gate to Oracle database for data extraction and integration with Amazon MSK to stream data.

Scope of Work & Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Oracle Golden gate across on-premise and AWS
• Cloud, Integrate Oracle Golden gate with Oracle database.
• Configure Amazon MSK, Amazon Kinesis and Postgresql RDS database
• Integrate Amazon MSK, Amazon Kinesis and Potgresql RDS with GoldenGate
• Configure AWS API Gateway, AWS Managed File transfer and other AWS services
• Configure monitoring, logging and other supporting ecosystem for deployed solution
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand data model and drive design and implementation.
• Work closely with other platform owners for integration.
• Test the implementation to ensure all functionalities required are delivered.
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to operations/support teams.

Requirements

• Local candidates with Singapore Citizens/ Singapore Permanent Residences preferred.
• 8+ years (minimum 3+ years in Oracle Golden gate, 2+ years in AWS Managed Kafka and RDS)
• Has 5+ years' experience as a technical lead with relevant working experience in financial services.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle database and Oracle Goldengate
• AWS Cloud and Experience in configuring multiple GoldenGate Replicat setup.
• Proficient in Amazon MSK, API gateway, Cognito, IAM, Amazon Kinesis, RDS, cloudwatch, cloudtrail services.
• Experience setting up AWS EKS and other services.
• Familiarity with networking, data security concepts.
• Experience with monitoring/logging using CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certifications : AWS Certified Developer/Architect, AWS Certified Advanced Networking or AWS data Engineer certification.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices in AWS environments.
• Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience in Java development for APIs, microservices.
