Job Responsibilities:

• Deploy and manage core firewalls such as FortiGate, Palo Alto, and Check Point, along with intrusion detection and prevention systems
• Configure and maintain site-to-site VPNs on FortiGate firewalls, including high availability (HA) redundancy setups
• Set up WAN/LAN interfaces, NAT configurations, and firewall policies to ensure secure and reliable network connectivity
• Implement both static and dynamic routing protocols within firewall environments
• Utilize application control features on FortiGate firewalls to block unauthorized or non-essential applications
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers and switches (CISCO, Alcatel) to ensure optimal network performance
• Perform regular firmware and operating system updates on network devices to enhance security and functionality
• Monitor and optimize network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and analyze network traffic for potential concerns
• Apply and enforce firewall rules and security configurations to protect systems from cybersecurity threats
• Manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 switch configurations for effective network traffic routing and segmentation
• Implement structured cabling and networking solutions using equipment from CISCO, Juniper, and Alcatel

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in networking, IT support, or system administration.
• Hands-on experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs) and firewall configuration.
• Strong troubleshooting skills at both L2 and L3 levels.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, NSE or equivalent are advantageous.
