Maltem Asia is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst for a Wealth Management Client based in Singapore.

Summary:
- Support ISPVM Data Ecosystem Analytics and Services (IDEAS) project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with stakeholders and users to understand, probe and document business requirements for data needs, including UI/UX.
- Craft detailed user journeys and use cases to illustrate how different types of users will interact with our systems and data.
- Translate business requirements and user journeys into functional specifications and detailed data requirements.
- Work closely with Data Engineers to design and implement data solutions that align with the defined user journeys and meet operational needs.
- Ensure user and solution to be developed incorporate Data Management best practices on top of user requirements.
- Conduct Data Analysis to ensure Data Quality and consistency, and to validate that the implemented solutions meet user needs.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, process flows, user journeys, and project plans.
- Assist with data governance and data management initiatives.
- Work closely with data engineers and relevant parties to ensure sprints are planned out properly and completed in timely manner.
- Perform testing.
Skillset Requirements:
- Possess a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Finance or related fields.
- At least 8 years of relevant working experience, with minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data management or business analyst role within investment and banking industry.
- Experience in crafting user journeys and use cases, and using them to guide system design and implementation.
- Proficiency in:
- SQL
- Python
- Experience with other data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication skill, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skill and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Good at working with details and is meticulous for operations.
- Good understanding in data modelling and data integration.
- Experienced with SDLC methodology and/or Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
