What you will be working on

Our Applications Development team drives the analysis, design, development, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of the Board's application systems to support the delivery of key CPF schemes to the public.

In this role, you will:

• Analyze, design, develop, implement and maintain Finance and Procurement applications leveraging on SAP S/4HANA technology platform
• Design and configure modules to enhance application functionality and improve system efficiency
• Develop and maintain system integrations
• Conduct feasibility studies and recommend cost-effective solutions that meet user requirements
• Manage projects to deliver quality systems on time and within budget
• Provide consultation to users on technical matters
• Where applicable, work with vendors to achieve project outcomes.

What we are looking for

We value the diverse talents and experiences that each individual brings to the table. While mastery of every requirement may not be necessary, familiarity and expertise in some of the following areas will position you for success within this team.

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology and strong understanding of systems engineering and information security
• Proven experience in SAP Financials, Controlling, Material Management using SAP S/4HANA or ECC 6.0 or higher
• Strong ABAP development skills and experienced in developing relevant systems
• Familiar with the Systems Development Life Cycle implementation methodology
• Good project management and vendor management skills
• Demonstrates an owner's mindset by taking the initiative to make things happen. Able to work with nascent ideas and negotiating ambiguity with an open mind while still driving projects forward.
• Good team player with strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Experience in SAP RISE Private Cloud, Business Technology Platform, SAP Joule, Vendors@Gov and GeBIZ integration, Fiori applications would be an added advantage

The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.

Position is on 2-year full time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with potential for emplacement into permanent position.
