The Role Objective:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Product Assistant Manager to lead the development and optimization of our vendor portal platform. This role will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to create a seamless and efficient experience for our vendors. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the vendor portal, aligning capabilities with business goals and vendor needs.
  • Collaborate closely with vendors, internal teams (procurement, supply chain, IT), and leadership to gather requirements and prioritize features, serving as the primary contact for vendor feedback.
  • Work with engineering, design, and QA teams to deliver high-quality features on time and within budget, writing clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure the vendor portal is intuitive and user-friendly for diverse vendor personas, conducting usability testing and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the vendor onboarding process, ensuring seamless integration with vendor systems, and develop training materials to help vendors effectively use the portal.
  • Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure success, analyzing data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, collaborating with security teams to implement robust data protection measures.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance vendor engagement and operational efficiency.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of product management experience, preferably with vendor-facing or B2B platforms.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Strong understanding of web-based platforms, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is preferred
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles is preferred
