We are looking for a high-potential, academically strong individual, to join us as a Data & Digital Transformation Associate with a focus on innovation and sustainability. This role support our digital, analytical, and green innovation efforts in the wholesale and international wood product trade. You are required to apply your scientific thinking, research skills, and digital mindset to real-world plywood industrial transformation in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with limited experience but strong academic achievements, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of digital transformation initiatives, including ERP, dashboards, and automation of business processes.
• Assist in data collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualization to support decision-making, business reporting and product development.
• Research and Support initiatives related to green product development and environmental certifications.
• Participate in the development and rollout of systems that integrate business operations across Southeast Asia.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to understand user needs, propose and implement suitable digital solutions.
• Participate in pilot projects using machine learning tools or AI models for product grading, defect detection, inventory optimization, costs analysis or process automation.
• Help prepare documentation, training materials, and user support resources.
• Coordinate with external vendors, IT teams, and business users during system testing and deployment.
• Support regional offices and be willing to travel to Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam for short-term project assignments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree, best in the field of Materials Science, Business Analytics, Sustainability, or a related field.
• Outstanding academic performance, demonstrated through GPA, academic projects, or awards.
• Curious and enthusiastic about learning natural material applications, wood science, and industrial processes.
• Comfortable working with both data and physical product understanding.
• Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin), English, Bahasa Melayu, and Bahasa Indonesia - both spoken and written.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cultures and teams.
• Eagerness to learn, self-motivated, and open to feedback.
• Familiarity with data tools such as Excel, R, Canvas, Phyton, machine learning.
• Exposure to sustainability or material safety research during university is a plus.
• Willing to travel and stay within Southeast Asia plywood factories for work assignments.
