JOB SUMMARY:

Highly motivated and skilled Network Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network infrastructure. A Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is mandatory for this role, as it validates your ability to work with Cisco networking technologies in real-world environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, configure, and support LAN, WAN, and internet systems or segments of network systems.
• Monitor network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
• Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
• Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
• Collaborate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
• Maintain network documentation and diagrams.
• Provide support and training to end-users and junior staff where necessary.
• Stay current with new network technologies and recommend upgrades as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Mandatory Certification: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 3 years proven hands-on network engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
• Familiarity with VPNs, firewalls, routing, switching, and network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to be on-call or provide after-hours support when required.

PREFERRED SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or other advanced certifications.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of VoIP, VLANs, SD-WAN, and network security best practices.
