Join the team in charge of driving enterprise cloud and data streaming solutions. You'll manage high-availability Kafka clusters, guide engineering teams, and shape the future of cloud infrastructure across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Apache Kafka clusters for performance, scalability, and resilience
• Guide engineering teams in managing Kafka topics, ACLs, partitions, and replication
• Configure and utilize monitoring tools like Prometheus/Grafana for observability
• Troubleshoot Kafka issues related to connectivity, delivery, and latency
• Collaborate with application teams to resolve integration issues and bottlenecks
• Automate infrastructure tasks using Terraform, Ansible, Python/Java
• Maintain documentation and generate usage/performance reports for stakeholders
• Design and lead PoCs and exploratory studies on cloud services and architectures
• Continuously improve operations through automation, best practices, and innovation
• Contribute to modernization initiatives with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years in IT, with 2-3 years managing Kafka in production environments (implementation, administration, monitoring, troubleshooting)
• Deep knowledge of Kafka internals, Zookeeper, Kafka Connect, KSQL, AVRO schemas
• Experience with data ingestion and ETL processes, along with familiarity with tools that integrate with Kafka (e.g., Kafka Connect, data pipelines).
• Solid grasp of streaming security, access control, and compliance
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience with cloud-native Kafka platforms (e.g., IBM Event Streams, Red Hat AMQ Streams) is a plus
