IT Project Analyst (Process/ Database/ Oil & Gas)

12-Month Contract

Salary : Up to $7,500 depending on experience

Our client is one of the world's largest publicly traded international oil and gas companies. They are actively looking for IT Project Analyst to join their operations.

Job Summary:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they meet business requirements and are completed on time and within budget.
• Interpret and analyze plant schematics (BFD, PFD, P&ID) and understand various unit operations in refining/ petrochemical production plants.
• Apply process engineering principles, including mass and energy balances, fluid dynamics, transport phenomena, and process control.
• Conduct problem-solving and root cause analysis using critical thinking, logical reasoning, and data analysis.
• Utilize industry-specific software such as Python and Visio for process design and analysis.
• Manage databases, preferably with experience in SQL Server, and perform scripting and automation using VBScript/SQL Queries.
• Integrate API & Middleware with ERP and historian systems and perform data visualization.
• Implement Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) principles and understand basic PowerShell and Windows batch scripting.
• Work in a Windows environment, including Windows Server.

Requirements

• Experience in Database management (SQL Server)
• Experience in Scripting and automation (VBScript/SQL Queries)
• Experience in API & Middleware knowledge
• Experience in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) principles
• Experience in Basic PowerShell and Windows batch scripting
