Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Digital Product Manager with strong expertise in business strategy, digital product development, and market expansion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading digital transformation initiatives, conducting business due diligence, and developing digital solutions across industries such as pharmaceutical, insurance, consumer finance, and manufacturing.

This role requires strong consulting skills, hands-on product management expertise, and technical proficiency in data-driven decision-making. Candidates must be fluent in Japanese (business level) to collaborate effectively with Japanese multinational clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end digital product lifecycle management (PLM), from market research to product launch.
• Drive user research & usability testing to enhance customer experience.
• Define and implement Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for new digital products.
• Optimize digital platforms & marketing strategies to maximize engagement and ROI.
• Conduct business due diligence for market expansion opportunities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, executives, and clients to align business objectives with digital transformation initiatives.
• Conduct expert interviews and stakeholder workshops to gather insights for strategy development.
• Lead multi-country digital transformation projects, collaborating with teams across Japan, ASEAN, and global markets.
• Excellent in data analytics and visualization using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
• Integrate API-based solutions (RESTful APIs, JSON, XML) to optimize digital workflows.

Key Requirements:

• Min. 10 years of working experience in digital product management, business strategy, and consulting field.
• Min. Master or Degree in any discipline.
• Strong expertise in business process optimization, product analytics, and digital transformation.
• Experience in multi-industry projects (healthcare, finance, insurance, sustainability, and manufacturing).
• Proficiency in project management and digital product lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with data-driven decision-making, market research, and strategic planning.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across international markets.
• Experience in R&D-driven product development.
• Experience or knowledge in product analytics (Google Analytics, Power BI), data visualization (Excel, Tableau), UX research and usability testing, prototyping (Figma, Sketch), API integration (RESTful APIs, JSON, XML), basic web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), CRM and marketing automation (Salesforce, HubSpot), data privacy and security compliance (GDPR, NIST).
• Good communication skills in both English and Japanese to effectively communicate and collaborate with key stakeholders, including Japanese speaking clients, cross-functional teams, particularly for managing digital product strategies and ensuring seamless project execution in a Japanese market.
