Responsibilities: -
  • Strategic thinker with a sales-driven mentality to help close deals using technical knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer challenges.
  • Proven ability to build good rapport and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with customers and cross functional teams, including experience communicating customer requirements to internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Accountable to drive revenue alongside the business development team, being a key stakeholder in the sales
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects, offering top-tier support and guidance throughout the sales process.
  • Continuously engage with clients to identify additional business opportunities and provide strategic advice.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations/ proof of concepts (POCs) and presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating the value proposition of our solutions.
  • Capable of implementing solutions, ensuring they are configured and integrated correctly. This includes on-site or remote installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform a technical lead role in the review and response of RFP/RFI documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including proposals, case studies, and technical specifications.
  • Conduct/ Lead in technical presentation and/or tender clarification of solution design, configuration and interoperability of different solutions proposed.
  • Train sales teams on the technical aspects of products or services, enabling them to effectively communicate benefits to customers.
  • Ensure an appropriate and efficient handover from pre-sales to the operation/ project delivery teams.

Job Qualifications: -
  • Minimally a diploma in Engineering/ IT or Computer Science/ Business or Business Administration
  • IT Certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Microsoft etc) will be an advantage.

Required skills: -
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong business analysis and technical communication skills, with the ability to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Broad knowledge of server and cloud technologies in the tech industry.
  • Sound knowledge in LAN, WAN networking technology, computer technology and IT equipment.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in the technology sector.
  • Have excellent interpersonal, negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Strong business acumen
  • Good documentation skills and proficiency in writing technical proposals in English and drawing network diagrams in MS Visio.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in pre-sales technical support and project implementation in system integration.
