AWS Cloud Engineer (Network)

Job Description

• \tAdminister and support cloud IT Infrastructure.

• \tAnalyse, troubleshoot, and resolve issues pertaining to supported technologies and related services within SLA.

• \tCollaborate with project stakeholders and technical teams. Effectively communicate technical changes and enhancements that may impact the Infrastructure.

• \tParticipate in planning, design, and implementation of changes to Cloud (AWS) Network Infrastructure and related on-premise infra.

• \tCarry out maintenance tasks such as patch updates and configuration changes to mitigate vulnerabilities.

• \tStandardization and automation of systems, tasks, and workflows using Terraform and Ansible.

• \tDocument processes and procedures, ensure these are adhered to throughout the supported environments.

Experience

• \tAt least 5 years' experience as Level 2 or 3 System or Network Administrator.

• \tHands-on experience in AWS, particularly in VPC (Transit Gateway, VPN, Security Groups, Route Tables, NACL), Network Firewall, Direct Connect, Route 53, Elastic Load Balancer.

• \tPreferably with experience in management and troubleshooting of Linux, Load Balancers, DNS, Web Application Firewall and Web Proxy.

• \tAble to write scripts in Python for automation of administrative tasks.

• \tStrong communication and documentation skills.

• \tTeam player, takes ownership of tasks and works independently with limited supervision.

• \tWilling and eager to learn new technologies.
