• Individual leadership is key to establish strategic IT policies, procedures and management of day to day IT operations.

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communications within the organization and working collaboratively with other departments

• Analytical thinking to be able to effectively troubleshoot and interpret problem areas, explain complex technical requirements for non-technical personnel and deliver optimal solutions

• Project management skills is key to planning, organizing and execution of tasks in a timely and efficient manner. This also includes monitoring progress and timely reporting of IT matters to the management team.

• Technical proficiency of different operating systems, networks and IT security measures is vital in this role. It's important to understand how these systems function and to provide technical support.

Technical certifications or proficiencies (added advantage) include:

• MS Office

• MS TEAMS collaboration platform

• Autocad

• ITIL® Foundation Certification

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Profile of a successful candidate:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent

• Possessing at least 7-10 years of experience with broad technical knowledge and strong management expertise. Sidney> Can consider 7 - 10 years of experience if budget is a constraint.

• Demonstrating a combination of strategic thinking and practical, hands-on skills.

• Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Displaying a high level of initiative, drive, and teamwork.

• Possessing strong analytical skills and upholding high business ethics and integrity.

• Demonstrating a creative and innovative mindset.

• Able to work independently and manage ambiguity well. Ability to think and act independently and quickly and effectively solve issues as they arise.

• Ability to able to communicate effectively, multiple tasks and take on new challenge.

• A team player with good analytical and problem-solving skills and is proficient in Infrastructure systems.
