QA/QC ENGINEER / ASSISTANT ENGINEER | Up to $3.7k | Boon Lay

Location: Jln Boon Lay(Company transport - Jurong point)
Working Days: 5 days A Week
Working hours : 8:00am - 5:00pm (40 hrs per week)
Salary : $2,700 to $3,700

Roles & Responsibilities:

a) Audit related

• Conduct internal audits and supplier audits
• Assist in ensuring corrective actions are in place and in compliance
• Assist in establishing procedures/work instructions and maintain documents

b) Process related

• Analyse test reports and work with the relevant teams for improvement actions
• Attend to potential quality issue and to address follow-up actions with cross functional team members
• Liaison with the relevant teams on root cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions for non-conformance or procedural failure

c) QA/QC Dept related

• To support preparation of QA/QC plans, formulate QC checklists, inspection and procedures
• Assist in compilation of monthly reports
• Maintain certification related documentations
• Assist in QA/QC's HSE in areas of hazards/incidents/risk assessments when necessary

d) Any other tasks or projects as assigned

Job Requirement

• Diploma in engineering fields with 1-2 years of relevant experience in QA/QC role
• Knowledge of metal-related industrial standards preferred
• Knowledge in problem solving methodologies: 8D, 5Whys, FMEA, SPC
