The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) invites applications for the position of Research Associate. The RA will work on a research project on the development of vision based robotic manipulation techniques for soft objects based on CNNs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Modelling of soft objects
• Development of robot vision system for detection and localization of soft objects using machine learning
• Development of control methods for manipulation of soft objects

Job Requirements:

• Master Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• Expertise in machine learning, robotics and control
• Experiences in robotics and machine learning related projects
• Good Publication track record
• Proficiency in basics of programming languages such as C, C++ and Python
• Proficiency in English
