The Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERIAN) invites applications for the position of Research Associate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in model construction for Digital Twin modes of ESS.
• Support our industrial partners to complete the deployment of the battery sets inside NTU;
• Communicate with funding agencies for project delivery and safety requirements.
• Negotiate with different companies for product/service purchases.
• Review and coordinate project updates with other technical and non-technical groups;
• Coordinate and prepare project updates to the funding agencies; Organize and assist in project-related events and meetings.
• Monitor and keep up to date the latest technology and trend in related areas.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or other related majors
• Well informed and knowledgeable in power systems and energy storage systems and related technology trends
• Strong communication and cohesive teamwork skills
• Hands-on experience with hardware and web GUI
• Experience with professional writing Proficiency in programming (Python, SQL, matlab etc.)
• Familiar with the local research grant application and funding agencies such as NRF, EMA, EDB, ESG, A*STAR etc. will be advantageous
• Able to work independently, pro-active and result driven
