The S-Lab for Advanced Intelligence invites applications for the position of Research Associate.

We are seeking Research Associate to join a university-level research centre collaborating with industry. The position is for one year, renewable subject to satisfactory performance. Successful candidates will be involved in a project that is related tophysics-informed machine learning and control with application to data centre operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• To independently undertake research in physics-informed machine learning.
• To produce research reports and/or publications as required by the funding body or for dissemination to the wider academic community.
• To provide support to other researchers and students associated with the project.
• To attend, contribute, and where necessary lead relevant meetings.
• To undertake any other duties relevant to the programme of research.

Job Requirements:

• A Master's degree in relevant fields;
• Have a solid foundation in at least two of following areas: Computer Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Automatic Control;
• Good publication record in top-tier machine learning or control-related conferences/journals is an asset;
• Knowledge of scientific or engineering software like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.;
• Demonstrate outstanding communication skills, clear logical thinking, and willingness to learn.
