Key Responsibilities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
- Work extensively with Apache Spark, Hadoop, and other distributed computing technologies.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Implement and optimize data models using both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability across all data assets.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile sprint planning.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
- Support migration and integration projects across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree inComputer Science or relevant discipline
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Scala and PySpark.
- Deep understanding of distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark and Hadoop.
- Solid experience with SQL, NoSQL, and data modelling principles.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and Agile methodologies.
- Exposure to major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
