Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all services and provide L1/L2 support, responding rapidly to incidents to ensure system uptime and service continuity.
• Quickly diagnose, analyze, and resolve alerts or issues, escalating when needed to minimize trading disruptions and prevent outages.
• Engage frequently with traders, external vendors, development teams, and infrastructure groups.
• Oversee automated workflows, scheduled tasks, and routine reporting processes.
• Manage user requests end-to-end, including tracking, approval review, updates, resolution, and closure.
• Identify inefficiencies such as repetitive tasks, manual processes, or ineffective tools/workflows, and drive continuous improvement through automation and cross-team collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on support experience.
• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration (RHEL, CentOS, or OEL preferred).
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Solid understanding of storage technologies and protocols (NFS; GPFS is a plus).
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Chef, Puppet, or Ansible).
• Familiarity with Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
• Knowledge of monitoring solutions (ELK Stack and Prometheus preferred).
• Database administration experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience managing containerized environments (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, GKE, or Helm preferred).
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, multicast, packet capture tools (e.g., tcpdump), and time synchronization (PTP, NTP).
