Position Overview: To provide strategic oversight, implementation, and operational management of TVS Motor's cloud infrastructure and information security posture. This role is responsible for designing and managing secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures across AWS and Azure while embedding security best practices across TVSM's fintech, autotech, and digital platforms. Additionally, the role will develop and enforce cybersecurity strategy and policies aligned with TVS Group standards, driving security awareness, managing incidents, and advising senior management on cybersecurity matters. The role will ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems while supporting business objectives through effective governance, cost optimization, performance management, and business continuity planning.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Cloud Infrastructure:

• Design, deploy, and manage TVSM's cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, cost-efficiency, performance, resilience, and security.
• Lead initiatives for cloud cost optimization, having driven ~40% cost reductions at TVSM through complex technical initiatives.
• Manage cloud infrastructure to meet agreed SLAs, ensuring high uptime for TVSM's client-facing platforms.
• Proactively monitor and manage AWS and Azure environments, addressing incidents promptly to minimize business disruption.
• Perform and oversee backup/restore, system patching, and maintenance within approved windows.
• Oversee cloud governance and cost management to optimize resource utilization while aligning with TVSM's business needs.
• Develop, implement, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans for TVSM's cloud services.

2. Cybersecurity:

• Develop, implement, and enforce information security strategies, standards, and policies in alignment with TVS Group compliance requirements.
• Guide and continuously improve TVSM's IT architecture and cybersecurity risk models to balance business agility with security.
• Drive security awareness and education initiatives across TVSM to foster a strong security culture.
• Advise senior management on all security matters, including RBI regulatory and customer contractual compliance.
• Lead incident management for cybersecurity, including investigation, remediation, documentation, and lessons learned.
• Perform regular VAPT and remediation of TVSM platforms, ensuring alignment with RBI regulations for NBFCs and client contractual obligations.
• Lead implementation and maintenance of ISO 27001 and other relevant security frameworks, leveraging prior success in achieving ISO 27001 certification for TVSM.
• Oversee and prepare for external cybersecurity audits (e.g., KPMG, BSI, ASERO) while ensuring timely remediation of findings.
• Manage IAM policies, network security, encryption, and monitoring tools (AWS CloudTrail, Azure Monitor) in line with TVSM's platform requirements.
• Collaborate with DevOps and software teams to embed security practices within CI/CD pipelines for TVSM's software products.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management and cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.
• Strong expertise in AWS and Azure cloud environments, with hands-on experience in architecture, deployment, optimization, and operational management.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, risk assessment, incident response, and compliance frameworks including ISO 27001, RBI guidelines for NBFCs, and SOC 2.
• Hands-on experience in performing VAPT, incident investigation, and leading remediation efforts to address identified vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with external cybersecurity audit processes and responding to auditors including KPMG, BSI, and ASERO.
• Proficiency in managing IAM policies, network security configurations, encryption, and monitoring tools within AWS and Azure.
• Experience in embedding security practices within CI/CD pipelines, aligned with TVSM's development workflows.
• Strong track record of driving cloud cost optimization and technical initiatives that result in measurable operational efficiencies.
• Relevant certifications including AWS Certified Solutions Architect, CompTIA+ (Security+), CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of TVSM's software platforms hosted in AWS and Azure, and familiarity with TVS Group's cloud and security standards, policies, and practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, senior management, and clients.
• Strong project management skills with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
