• Salary Up to $5300 per month
• Work Location: Tampines (walking distance from MRT)
• 5-day work week: 9am – 5pm

Our client, a leading European insurance provider specializing in the maritime industry is seeking an experienced candidate to join them as an IT Support Engineer.

Job Responsibilities:

• To provide first and second-line support for hardware, software, and network issues – this includes but not limited to the following:
• Troubleshooting/ resolving technical problems related to end user devices; laptops, mobiles etc.
• Assist users with Microsoft Office 365 applications, email, and other business-critical software.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory, and identity management systems.
• Train and guide end-users on IT best practices and new technologies.
• Provide local IT infrastructure support, perform routine checks and ensure infrastructure is maintained according to global policies and standards.
• Provide application support, liaising closely with software developers, vendors and third-party providers to resolve application-related issues.
• Ensure adherence to corporate IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, and support activities to meet compliance requirements.
• As the primary IT point of contact for the Singapore office, you will ensure alignment with global IT initiatives and work closely with UK, US and AU based IT teams to provide updates, share knowledge, and coordinate support efforts.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in IT/ Computer Science or equivalent
• Possess minimum 2 years of experience in IT support function (desktop, infrastructure, and application support)
• Possess in depth knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, and Active Directory with a basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, switches, and routers).
• Prior experience working in a global organisation or supporting remote teams is advantageous.
