Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure cloud and virtualized infrastructure solutions (VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, Azure).
• Automate cloud and infrastructure operations using scripting tools such as PowerShell and Python.
• Participate in the specification, setup, and execution of Proof of Concepts (POCs) and infrastructure demonstrations.
• Administer and maintain servers across virtual and cloud platforms.
• Implement and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Windows Server environments.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure optimization.
• Ensure system availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for infrastructure incidents and performance issues.
• Implement patching, security hardening, and compliance monitoring.
• Support backup, storage, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver reliable and secure IT infrastructure services.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud or virtualized infrastructure environments.
• Strong experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, vSAN) and/or Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience administering Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy).
• Hands-on experience in infrastructure automation using PowerShell and/or Python.
• Experience in server virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V), storage platforms, and backup solutions.
• Solid understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Experience in troubleshooting infrastructure incidents and performing root cause analysis (RCA).
• Knowledge of IT security best practices including patching, hardening, and compliance monitoring.
