Responsibilities
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls to maintain network stability and security
- Administer Palo Alto firewalls by creating policies, monitoring traffic, and implementing security rules to protect network assets
- Support Aruba NAC solutions by managing authentication, authorization, and endpoint compliance to enforce network access control
- Configure and maintain F5 load balancers to optimize traffic distribution and ensure high availability of critical services
- Monitor network performance metrics, identify and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain service quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver network solutions that support business initiatives and operational needs
- Maintain accurate network documentation including topology diagrams, device configurations, and incident reports to facilitate troubleshooting and audits
- Participate in on-call rotation providing Level 2 support for escalated network incidents to ensure timely resolution
- Enforce compliance with security policies and industry best practices to safeguard network integrity and data confidentiality
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in network engineering and support
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco networking devices and technologies
- Proficiency in managing Palo Alto firewalls and security policies
- Experience with Aruba NAC implementation and support
- Familiarity with F5 load balancer configuration and troubleshooting
- Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and switching concepts
