Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Campus Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco Catalyst Center and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). The role involves designing, deploying, and operating secure, automated campus network environments. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience in enterprise networking, wireless, and network security, with SME-level expertise in Cisco ISE and extensive exposure to Cisco Catalyst Center for automation, assurance, and analytics.

Responsibilities
  • Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches in enterprise campus environments.
  • Strong understanding of OSI and TCP/IP models, LAN design principles, and VLAN architecture.
  • Configure and support routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP
  • Support WAN transport technologies: Private/Leased Lines, MPLS
  • Configure and troubleshoot switching technologies: VLAN, STP, VTP, HSRP
  • Apply advanced network concepts: 802.1X, GRE, DMZ, VPNs, VLAN configurations
  • Perform network packet capture and trace analysis for advanced troubleshooting.
  • Maintain up-to-date network topology diagrams, runbooks, and change documentation.
  • Collaborate with Cisco TAC and service providers for escalations and complex issue resolution.
  • Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, including radio behavior, signal strength, interference, and access point placement.
  • Manage wireless and IP address management services.
  • Design, deploy, and manage Cisco Catalyst Center solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot issues using Catalyst Center tools.
  • Collaborate with network architects to develop and implement campus network strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and operational support to network administrators and engineers.
  • Conduct regular network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Stay current with Cisco Catalyst Center features, releases, and industry trends.
  • Design, deploy, and manage Cisco ISE for enterprise Network Access Control (NAC).
  • Configure and maintain AAA policies (authentication, authorization, accounting).
  • Perform ISE upgrades, patching, health checks, and capacity planning.
  • Develop and maintain ISE documentation, including policies, configurations, and operational procedures.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise campus networking.
  • SME-level expertise in Cisco ISE.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst Center.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills across wired, wireless, and security domains.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Cisco certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, or CCIE (preferred)
  • Cisco ISE or Catalyst Center-specific training/certifications
  • Experience in highly regulated or complex enterprise networks
