1. RESPONSIBILITY
The Principal Solution Consultant will act as a critical technical bridge between potential international clients and the delivery teams, focusing on leveraging AI and Data to solve complex business problems across key industry verticals: Retail, E-commerce, and Banking.
• Provide strategic consulting to clients in Retail, E-commerce, and Banking on how to leverage Data and AI to drive digital transformation and achieve measurable business outcomes.
• Propose and design AI-powered solutions (e.g., personalization engines, fraud detection, dynamic pricing, advanced customer segmentation, and marketing automation) to address core business challenges like increasing sales, optimizing supply chains, and enhancing operational efficiency.
• Proactively identify and cultivate opportunities for new Data & AI opportunities within existing and prospective client accounts.
• Partner closely with the Sales and Presales teams to develop highly compelling, tailored proposals, demos, and presentations that align AI solutions with specific customer objectives.
• Translate complex client business needs and pain points into effective, high-value technical solutions and architectures, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Lead client workshops and technical discussions, building trust through expertise and value-driven conversations.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the target industries (e.g., conversion rates, customer lifetime value, portfolio risk metrics) to support data-driven solution validation.
• Work closely with offshore delivery teams to ensure smooth delivery and alignment with customer expectations.
• Support post-sales solution implementation (if needed) to ensure success and satisfaction.

2. REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in presales engineering, consulting, or solution design, preferably in retail or e-commerce industries.
- Deep industry expertise in at least two of the following sectors: Retail, E-commerce, or Banking.
- Strong understanding of applying data and AI in retail, digital commerce and banking domain.
- Business-level proficiency in English is required; capability in a second relevant regional language (e.g., Japanese, Chinese) is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, platform implementation, and digital ecosystems, particularly with e-commerce.
- Proven track record in client-facing roles with expertise in gathering and analyzing technical and business requirements.
- Demonstrated success in developing proposals, commercial and technical documentation, and solution recommendations that meet client needs with precision and value.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on empathy, cultural awareness, and the ability to build rapport across onshore and offshore teams.
- Skilled at logically breaking down complex problems into simpler components for estimation and planning.
