Key Responsibilities & duties

A. Laboratory related responsibilities

1. Conduct sensory, microbial, pH etc. testing for finished product and raw materials, and recording of results (including for Trial samples).
2. Perform incoming material testing, i.e. raw material, packaging material, and material COA review.
3. Perform routine QC checks in accordance to documented HACCP Plan and Procedures.
4. Support plant operations food safety and quality control for production, incoming inspection, and other QA/QC activities throughout the manufacturing process.
5. Assist QM & PD Executive into managing QC Laboratory, chillers, sample retention and QA Hold Area, to ensure cleanliness and housekeeping to meet 5S standards.
6. Responsible for the correct recording and filing of all relevant record logs and documentation.
7. Collect product samples for product retention program.
8. Check chemical solution for production use.
9. Perform swab test to verify the cleaning condition of equipment and worker's hygiene, Water test and Environment test.
10. Conduct shelf life validation.
11. Assist QM & PD Executive to conduct calibration job as per procedure.
12. Assist QM & PD Executive to perform complaint/ retention sample evaluation, to determine root cause.
13. Monitor Lab inventory.

B. Quality Management Systems related responsibilities

1. Assist QM & PD Manager/ Executive into monitoring and maintaining production operations in accordance to GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 requirements.
2. Manage QA withheld inclusive of product on hold activities, sorting and releasing.
3. Monitoring critical control points (CCP) implementation as per HACCP/ ISO Standards.
4. Ensure employees are following all food safety and worker safety practices.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Food Science/ Chemistry.
2. 1 to 2 years of experience in laboratory testing/ experience in Food Manufacturing Plant. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
3. Good communication skills, able to work independently and good time management.
4. Possess skills for Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
