About the Role

My client is seeking a Temporary Employee on a 1-year contract to join the Policy & Regulation division as a Data Analyst. You will be part of a team responsible for reviewing public transport fare policies, as well as supporting regulatory and licensing functions.

This role involves close engagement with stakeholders and industry players to develop sound policy options that balance fare affordability with the financial sustainability of the public transport system.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to public transport fare policy reviews
• Support regulatory and licensing functions
• Engage stakeholders and industry players to develop and assess policy options
• Perform statistical analysis and data-driven evaluations
• Draft policy papers and reports
• Review and support legislative work
• Work closely with government agencies and regulated entities to ensure effective policy implementation

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Keen interest or experience in economics or finance
• Practical experience in public policy formulation and development is an advantage
• Knowledge or experience in statistical analysis and/or SQL is preferred
• Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills
• Meticulous and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to think strategically and work independently as well as in a team
• Able to perform well under pressure

Working Arrangements

• Working Days & Hours
  
  • Mondays to Thursdays: 8.30 am - 6.00 pm
  • Fridays: 8.30 am - 5.30 pm
