Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Operations (Azure)

• Create, manage, monitor, and optimize Azure resources (e.g. AKS, AKV, VMs, storage accounts, networking, APIM, Azure Gateway, App Service Plans).

• Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code and Scripts (Ansible).

• Monitor performance, costs, and compliance using Azure Monitor, Sentinel, and Cost Management.

• Backup and restore VMs and resources, high availability, and backup strategies.

• Resolve alerts and warnings

• Strong troubleshooting experience, be able to identify trends and patterns for resolution

Windows & Linux System Administration

• System Admin, Install, configure, patch, and troubleshoot Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) systems.

• Manage services such as Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, Apache/Nginx, and SMTP.

• Perform certificate renewals, OS hardening, vulnerability remediation, and performance tuning.

• Automate system tasks using PowerShell, Bash, and Ansible.

Networking & Firewall

• Manage and troubleshoot Azure networking (VNets, subnets, NSGs, load balancers, VPNs, ExpressRoute, firewalls) and Palo Alto Firewall

• Configure and support firewalls, routing, in hybrid and cloud environments.

• Implement and monitor network security policies, WAFs, and intrusion detection/prevention solutions.

• Work with IPsec, SSL, TLS, certificates, and VPN tunnels.

DevOps & Automation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

• Support containerization and orchestration (Containers, Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).

• Automate deployments, patching, and monitoring through Ansible, Azure native tools, scripts

• Improve operational reliability with monitoring, alerting, continuous improvements, and self-healing solutions.

Security & Compliance

• Apply cloud security best practices and manage Azure native solutions such as Azure Key Vaults, Sentinel, Defender for Cloud.

• Ensure systems and networks comply with security frameworks (IM8, CIS).

• Support incident response, vulnerability management, and security audits.

Collaboration & Support

• Participate in risk and issues resolution, incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL aligned). Provide status reports and metrics.

• Provide on-call/after-hours support on a roster plan.

• Work with app developers and security teams to maintain operations and compliance.
