- We are looking for Data Modeler with deep expertise in enterprise system migration and modernization programs, preferable in financial domain. Who will play a pivotal role in decommissioning legacy systems and rebuilding future-ready platforms using PostgreSQL DB.
- 7+ years of hands-on data modelling and data migration experience for complex system and handling high volume data migration. Prior experience in migrating complex data from legacy systems (SQL/MP, Enscribe) to PostgreSQL. Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL performance and migration features (large-scale COPY, FDW, partitioning, parallel query).
Lead conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling for enterprise-wide financial system modernization and core platform replacement initiatives. Data remodelling supporting transactional, analytical, and regulatory workloads. Perform legacy data discovery, profiling, and create detailed source-to-target mappings (STTM) for migrations involving hundreds of tables. Define and execute end-to-end data migration strategies from legacy environments to modern PostgreSQL.
Collaborate with solution architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure modelling aligns with business and technology needs.
Produce high-quality deliverables: ER diagrams, data dictionaries, data mapping , migration runbooks, reconciliation reports. Enforce data governance, quality, masking, and compliance standards
