Job Description

We are looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer with good experience in enterprise infrastructure and platform operations to support Public Service agencies and non-Government entities. The role involves managing and enhancing network, server, data centre, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and sustainable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and support enterprise-level infrastructure services including network, servers, backup systems, and platforms.
• Manage data centre and server room operations, ensuring service continuity and availability.
• Execute cloud infrastructure initiatives and enhancements using modern network and server technologies.
• Work with internal teams and outsourced service providers to plan and deliver infrastructure service projects.
• Collaborate with Government Central ICT Infrastructure capability centres to design fit-for-purpose infrastructure solutions.
• Monitor and maintain infrastructure services, coordinating issue resolution and change implementation with vendors.
• Support infrastructure services for application systems in collaboration with application teams.
• Participate in architecture review and governance processes to ensure operational sustainability and resiliency.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in ICT infrastructure operations.
• Good technical knowledge of network, server, and platform technologies, including infrastructure security.
• Experience in data centre operations, vendor management, and service monitoring.
• Exposure to cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Singapore Government IT infrastructure and processes is beneficial.
• Proactive, organised, and resourceful, with strong communication and analytical skills.
