Virtual Infrastructure Management VMware, Hyper-V, OpenShift ContainerPlatform (OCP)

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
• Manage clusters, resource pools, virtual switches, and datastores.
• Utilize vSphere technologies including vCenter, ESXi, vMotion, DRS, and HA.
• Monitor system health dashboards in vCenter; address alerts, failures, andperformance degradation.
• Troubleshoot VM resource bottlenecks (CPU, memory, disk, network).
• Provide incident resolution and technical support for Windows system-relatedissues.
• Conduct performance analysis and tuning for Windows servers.
• Administer Windows Failover Clusters and Always-On Clusters.
• Administer and maintain Hyper-V hosts and virtual machines.
• Configure and manage virtual switches, storage, and failover clustering.
• Monitor performance and availability of Hyper-V environments
• Collaborate with storage, networking, and backup teams for integratedinfrastructure support.
• Manage control plane components and worker nodes in OpenShift clusters.
• Monitor node health and resource usage (CPU, memory, disk).
• Analyze logs using OpenShift Cluster logs, Splunk, or external loggingservices.
• Troubleshoot networking, deployment, and node-level issues in OpenShift.
