About the Role

We are seeking a Junior / Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to manage and enhance the reliability, security, and performance of critical on-premises and cloud (Azure) platforms. This role offers hands-on exposure to hybrid infrastructure, automation, and modern cloud technologies, while giving you the opportunity to drive platform modernisation in a highly impactful environment.

Working Hours: 8.30am-6.00pm (Mon-Thu), 8.30am-5.30pm (Fri)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and optimise platform performance across on-premises and Azure environments
• Perform capacity planning, patching, and lifecycle management to ensure system health and availability
• Drive automation initiatives and implement infrastructure standards to improve efficiency and reliability
• Execute monthly patching with minimal service disruption in hybrid environments
• Provide L2/L3 BAU support for Azure and on-premises platform incidents
• Support containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, and enable hybrid cloud adoption
• Develop and maintain SOPs and technical documentation

Key Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible or similar tools)
• Familiarity with Nutanix and virtualisation technologies
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, security concepts)
• Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
• 2-5 years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering roles
• Proven experience supporting large-scale or high-availability systems
