Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and driven Front-End Developer for E-Trading application development team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for building and enhancing Web UI modules for an in-house FX eCommerce platform.

You will collaborate closely with back-end developers and key business stakeholders to deliver high-performance, intuitive user interfaces that support the bank's Technology function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using ReactJS, JavaScript, and Node.js.

• Work closely with back-end teams to ensure smooth and efficient client-server API integration.

• Participate in code reviews and design discussions to uphold high-quality standards.

• Partner with Business Analysts and Project Managers to translate requirements into functional, user-focused features.

• Support code deployments, releases, and related operational tasks on a rotational basis, with a strong focus on automation and continuous improvement of the build/deployment pipeline.

• (Optional) Present system demos to business stakeholders to showcase new features and gather feedback.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably from Computer Science, Finance, Financial Engineering, Business Analysis.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks, especially ReactJS.

• Experience with or exposure to RESTful APIs using Java or similar technologies is an advantage.

• Familiarity with development tools such as Bitbucket (Git), Jira, and Confluence.

• Understanding of UI component libraries and design systems such as Material UI or Ant Design.

• Knowledge of Node.js, npm, Webpack, and other front-end build tools.

• Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

• Financial industry experience is not required, but a strong willingness to learn is essential.
