Role & Responsibilities
Requirements
- Conduct internal vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, ensuring timely remediation of identified security gaps.
- Evaluate vulnerability reports from internal tools, vendors, and research sources to determine their relevance and impact.
- Provide expert guidance to technical teams on effective mitigation and remediation strategies.
- Participate in organization-wide penetration testing and offensive security programs.
- Stay current on emerging cyber threats, exploit techniques, and threat intelligence; assess potential impacts and recommend corrective or preventive measures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in penetration testing or offensive security.
- Strong understanding of common vulnerabilities, exploit methods, and standard mitigation practices (such as the OWASP Top 10).
- Experience in red teaming, attack simulation, or related offensive security engagements.
- Proficient in conducting root cause analysis for identified vulnerabilities and recommending suitable technical fixes.
- Comfortable analyzing large datasets and detailed vulnerability information.
- Strong attention to detail with solid analytical and written communication skills.
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, GWAPT, GXPN, or equivalent are preferred.
