About the role

• Design & Implementation: Design, configure, and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs).
• Maintenance & Support: Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, and security configurations.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Troubleshoot network issues and outages to quickly restore service.
• Security: Manage network security systems, including firewall policies, access control lists (ACLs), and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS).
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including logical and physical network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and configuration templates.

Skills and experience required

• Computer Science degree or equivalent
• Experience with deploying and maintaining Cisco SDWAN, Cisco ACI, F5 load balancers, Checkpoint or Palo Alto Firewalls
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience for Engineer level and minimum 10 years for Manager role
• Team leadership experience required for the Manager role
