Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Product Manager to take ownership of core Finance and Tax systems. This role is critical in driving both transformational projects and ensuring the stability and continuous improvement of the business-as-usual (BAU) operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong operational mindset, capable of managing complex vendor ecosystems and acting as the vital bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product & Platform Ownership: Serve as the product owner for key Finance and Tax platforms, focusing on the maintenance, enhancement, and operational health of these critical systems.
• Project Delivery: Spearhead the end-to-end delivery of medium to large, complex projects, from conception and prototyping to implementation and user acceptance testing.
• BAU & Operational Excellence: Manage all BAU aspects of the systems, including monitoring performance, ensuring high availability, and guaranteeing that all services meet defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with and manage multiple third-party vendor partners to deliver on project outcomes and operational targets. Act as the primary liaison between business users (Finance, Tax) and technology delivery teams.
• User-Centric Improvement: Identify and prioritize improvement opportunities by conducting user research, translating insights into user flows, and designing solutions that resolve pain points.
• Agile Leadership: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, overseeing project execution to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project/product management, with a strong focus on finance and tax-related systems.
• Proven, hands-on experience with Workday Finance is a mandatory requirement.
• Demonstrated experience in managing the delivery of complex, custom or digital solutions, including integration with packaged and SaaS enterprise platforms.
• Strong background in managing multi-vendor environments and handling BAU IT operations.
• In-depth knowledge of financial systems, accounting principles, and tax processes.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and user-centered design principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to project manage and influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
