We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to work on projects in 'AI for Cybersecurity' domain, with a focus on applying Natural Language Processing (NLP) and advanced AI techniques to automatically identify and extract critical information from unstructured or semi-structured data for applications such as threat analysis, cybercrime prevention, etc. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in NLP and AI, solid programming skills (e.g., Python, deep learning frameworks), and familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and challenges.

Successful candidates will join an interdisciplinary R&D team of experts in threat analysis, network security, cybersecurity, machine learning, and deep learning. They will collaborate closely with industry partners to understand real-world challenges, contribute to project scoping, and help design, develop and evaluate practical AI-driven solutions that address critical cybersecurity needs in enterprise applications.

Job Requirement

• PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field

• Knowledge or experience in cyber security, network security, threat analysis, cybercrime prevention, and related applications.

• 2-3 years of working experience in related research areas is a plus.

• Publications in top-tier security venues (IEEE S&P, NDSS, USENIX Security, ACM CCS, AI-/NLP-related conference) are expected

• Strong Python with PyTorch/Hugging Face; solid data engineering (pandas/NumPy); reproducible ML practices

• Ability to work independently, as well as in teams - highly desired

• Ability and willingness to learn and adapt - highly desired

• Good team player with both research and engineering ethics

• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills for proposals, reports, and publications

• Strong communication skills
