Job Description:

We are seeking an Application Engineer to support our Offshore Maintenance & Inspection (M&I) project. The role involves maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing cloud-based maintenance and inspection applications to ensure reliability, security, and performance across offshore operations.

You will provide Level 2/3 application support, manage deployments, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with engineering and IT teams to enhance data integration, monitoring, and automation for offshore systems.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain offshore inspection and maintenance applications.
• Monitor system health, performance, and data integrity using Grafana, Splunk, or Cloud Monitoring.
• Troubleshoot application and integration issues across onshore and offshore systems.
• Automate deployment and monitoring workflows using scripting tools.
• Manage integrations with cloud and identity systems (AWS, GCP, AD, LDAP).
• Ensure data security, compliance, and reliability of inspection platforms.
• Collaborate with project and IT teams for upgrades, fixes, and new features.
• Maintain system documentation and participate in on-call support rotation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• 5-8 years in application support, cloud, or infrastructure operations.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Linux/Windows environments.
• Skilled in SQL, Grafana, Splunk, Zabbix, or AppDynamics.
• Familiarity with IoT, MQTT, and data integration for field/offshore systems.
• Knowledge of APIs, automation scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), and ITIL processes.
• Experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills
